SUMMER SCHOOL
Summer School programs are designed to provide extra support to students through the summer months Several programs are provided within Alpine School District during the summer of 2008.
Curriculum programs at summer school will review practice, learn basic strategies and skills students need for literacy success at various grade levels.
Literacy instruction will include reading, writing and working with words and phonics.
All the summer programs listed below are provided free of charge to participating students.

•Teacher referral for enrollment for Kindergarten, first and second grade students. Qualifying scores used for selection.
• Enrollment preference goes to students that have attended the hosting school in the current school year and will be attending their school the following year. A waiting list for other children will be taken.
•Privately funded through Alpine Foundation
