Introducing a new, dynamic and interactive school calendar!

Lone Peak's new calendaring system has great features-

  • You can see all sports, fine arts, dances, student activities in ONE place.

  • There is no need for separate schedules which become outdated as weather conditions cause rescheduling.  You can easily see all school activities, or just one team or activity you are interested in.  You can filter out all but the type of activity you want to see.
  • Identify activities of your choice and filter out the ones you don't need to see

Colors are used for categories such as fine arts and athletics. This makes it easy for you to find exactly what you are looking for.

You can also choose to filter out events such as only choir or only basketball. Go to the bottom of the page, choose "Options," then "Event Filter."

Or search for events by typing in a particular word or abbreviation.  Choose "Options," then "Search for Events."  To go back to the original calendar without filtering, go to the top of the page and "Remove Filter."

  • View the calendar in month, week, or day view

Go to the bottom of the calendar, choose "Display."

  • You can sign up to receive email

about all events in the calendar, events in particular categories, or just specific events of your choice.  In the main screen, go to the bottom of the calendar and choose "Options", then "E-mail Subscriptions."  E-mail reminders are send 3 days before and again 1 day before an event.

  • This online calendar can be synchronized with a PDA

running Palm OS, and/or with Microsoft Outlook; full two-way synchronization is supported by TripleSync, a custom Palm conduit. TripleSync also functions as a desktop tool for off-line editing of Calcium calendars. TripleSync is priced separately; a PC running Palm HotSync under Microsoft Windows is required for syncing with a Palm Pilot, and Microsoft Outlook is, obviously, needed if you want to sync with that. (As this feature is new and supported by a third party, we are interested in how it works, but unable to provide technical support. However, we are interested in how this works for you.  Please let the webmaster know.)

  • Print the calendar

Go to the bottom of the calendar and choose "Print."  You can print in color or black and white.  Boxes expand to fit the content, so nothing is left out.

  • Pop-up windows

We are working hard to provide helpful information such as addresses and maps to event locations.  If an event is underlined, then there is a pop-up or map attached to that event.
