Sego Lily Elementary Dress Code

• Students are expected to dress modestly and appropriately for the weather so as to neither endanger thei health nor detract from the learning environment.

• Shorts three (3) inches above the knee when kneeling on the floor are acceptable. Mini skirts and bike shorts are not acceptable.

• Shirts, blouses and other tops must have a sleeve and must cover the body to the waist. No bare midriffs, tank tops, mesh shirts or tops are permitted.

• "Grubby" clothing or clothing containing inappropriate pictures, vulgarities, profanities, obscenities, or advertisements for alcohol, tobacco, or drugs are not acceptable.

• For your child's saftey
• , please do not send them to school in flip-flops, clogs, or sandals without a back strap. Every year we have students who twist their ankles in clogs and flip-flops. We also have students who have had a door opened across their feet. If a student's foot in not adequately covered, their feet can get cut up. Students should wear shoes that allow them to run and play safely.

• Hats or other headgear may not be worn indoors.
