CLOTHING GUIDELINES
We expect students to maintain a clean and non-distracting appearance. We are concerned about clothing that could be hazardous to the health and/or safety of students involved.
Appropriate clothing includes: knee-length shorts and skirts, tops covering shoulders, chest, back, and midriff. Clothing with inappropriate language, art, and messages (drugs or alcohol) is prohibited. Hairstyles distracting in appearance or needing constant attention are not acceptable. Hats and bandanas should not be worn in the building. If a student's appearance is inappropriate, the student may be asked to call home for a change of clothes.
Students should arrive to school dressed to accommodate current weather conditions. Students are expected to go outside for recess, with the exception of extreme weather conditions. Please send a note to your child's teacher if health reasons prohibit your child from outdoors play. Please note: If a child is too sick to go outside, he/she should not attend school until health has improved.
